The difference between pure PTFE gasket and common ptfe gasket

PTFE gaskets: PTFE gaskets, PTFE gaskets, flat gaskets, V-shaped gaskets, piston rings, ball valve gaskets, etc. made of PTFE rods, tubes and plates by mechanical turning or cutting, have good characteristics such as corrosion resistance, aging resistance and non-conductive. PTFE pH 0-14 (except molten alkali metals and fluorine at high temperature and pressure). It can have good mechanical strength between -100℃ and 1001℃.

PTFE gasket is a medium hard, tight large, three-dimensional space is easy to form, can be set into micro cracks and damage at the patch crack plugging, especially in acid resistance, alkali resistance, anti-erosion and non-metallic facilities, large diameter vessels connection range of outstanding effectiveness, can effectively protect the installation of brittle materials connected. It can also compensate and balance the errors formed by defects, mechanical processing, rigid deformation, installation misalignment, etc., balance the uneven preload force, and can effectively solve the problem of leakage of various facilities under complex conditions.

Advantages of PTFE gasket

1) compact structure, easy to install and disassemble;

2) static and dynamic seals can be used;

3) dynamic friction resistance is relatively small;

4) the use of a single O-ring can be used to seal in both directions;

5) low price.

1.Suitable for a variety of sealing forms: static sealing, dynamic sealing

2.Suitable for a variety of materials, sizes and grooves are standardized, interchangeable

3.Suitable for a variety of movements: rotary movement, axial reciprocating movement or combined movement (such as rotary reciprocating combined movement)

4.Suitable for a variety of different sealing media: oil, water, gas, chemical media or other mixed media.

Applicable standards of PTFE gasket:
1. tetrafluoro is known as the "King of Plastics" and is resistant to almost all chemicals;
2. non-toxic and odorless, stable performance, zui clean gasket;

3. Outstanding insulation and thermal insulation properties.

Pure teflon gaskets are physically cut from pure Teflon sheets, tubes, etc. 100% pure Teflon, no impurities. Resistant to almost all chemical media, resistant to cold flow creep, outstanding performance.

According to different usage requirements, glass fiber, graphite, copper powder, etc. can be added to adapt to different media and working condition requirements.

Outstanding performance of PTFE gasket:
1. Resistant to strong acids and alkalis;
2. resistance to almost all chemical media;
3. low coefficient of friction;
4. non-adhesive and anti-aging;

5. Various specifications of gaskets can be manufactured by moulding according to different requirements of customers.

Technical data of PTFE gaskets:
1. density: 2.10 ~ 2.30 g/cm3. 2.
2. Tensile strength: 15.0MPa. 3.
3. Elongation: 150%.
