Abstract: P66 and POM are both high-performance engineering plastics. They have similar properties in many aspects, but there are also some differences. The following is the main performance comparison of Pa66 and POM:


1. Strength and hardness: PA66 has higher strength and hardness than POM. PA66 has higher tensile strength and modulus, as well as higher impact strength and stiffness. This makes PA66 more suitable in applications requiring high strength and hardness.


2. Heat resistance: PA66 has better heat resistance than POM. PA66 can withstand higher temperatures and can be used in a wider range of applications. POM can usually only be used at lower temperatures.


3. Wear resistance: PA66 has better wear resistance than POM. PA66 has a better friction coefficient and better wear resistance, so it is more suitable in applications that require high wear resistance.


4. Chemical resistance: PA66 has better chemical resistance than POM. PA66 can withstand more chemicals and corrosive environments, so it is more suitable in environments that require chemical resistance.


5. Processability: The processability of PA66 is better than that of POM. PA66 can be molded through injection molding, extrusion and other processes, and can be precision processed through molds. POM is relatively difficult to process and requires higher processing technology and equipment.


In general, PA66 has better strength, hardness, heat resistance and chemical resistance than POM, and its processability is also better. However, POM also has some advantages, such as it being lighter than PA66 and easier to process into complex shapes.
