GPO3 insulation board use standard


GPO3 insulating board is a kind of molding material with high mechanical strength and excellent insulating property. It is widely used in electric power, electronics, transportation, metallurgy and other fields, and is an ideal electrical insulation material.


The material of GPO3 insulating board is glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester resin, with smooth surface, uniform color, high mechanical strength, good impact resistance, good heat resistance, excellent insulating properties, good weather resistance and chemical resistance. Appearance and size:

The size and shape of GPO3 insulating board should be consistent with the design drawings, the surface should be flat, no bubbles, cracks and foreign objects and other defects, if defective, it should be replaced.


Physical properties:

The hardness of GPO3 insulating board should be in accordance with ASTM D2583 standard, and the difference of hardness should not be greater than the range specified in the standard; density should be in accordance with ASTM D792 standard and the difference should not be greater than the range specified in the standard.


Mechanical properties:

The mechanical properties of GPO3 insulating board are divided into three aspects: tensile, bending and impact. Tensile properties should be in line with ASTM D638 standards, and the ratio between tensile strength and elongation should not be less than the standard requirements; bending properties should be in line with ASTM D790 standards, and the bending strength and modulus should be in line with the standard requirements; impact properties should be in line with ASTM D256 standards, and the absorption energy should be in line with the standard requirements.

The thermal stability of GPO3 insulating board should be in accordance with ASTM D2307 standard, and should meet the requirements of the standard.


Application scope:

GPO3 insulating board is suitable for electrical equipment, dry-type transformers, control cabinets, generators, cable bridges, power generation equipment and other occasions requiring insulation.

GPO-3 is a rigid board insulating material with excellent performance. Its processing technology is mainly unsaturated polyester resin paste soaked alkali-free glass fiber mat board, made by hot press molding and pultrusion molding process, can be processed into U-type, L-type, I-type, H-type and other shapes.

In addition, it can be processed into busbar insulated troughs and insulated corners for power control and transmission and distribution equipment, and applied to wire ducts, cable culverts, cable racks, insulated troughs, fuse clips, end insulations, cable holders, busbar holders, stiffening corners, core corners, and insulated corners, to form bases (racking) and terminal boards
