DuPont™ vespel® parts and profiles are categorized into five different material product families: S, CR, TP, CP and ASB.

DuPont™ vespel®parts are high-performance engineering plastics produced by DuPont that combine the unique material properties of plastics, metals and ceramics. vespel parts offer a high degree of flexibility in design, allowing multiple components to be combined into one, or part designs to be changed to simplify product assembly. Because of the properties of metals and ceramics, VESPEL parts exhibit excellent performance in harsh operating environments.

Vespel®S Series

The S-Series of Vespel parts and profiles includes a wide range of products with different properties. The S-Series was the first highly durable Polyimide material introduced by Vespel, with outstanding properties such as abrasion resistance, insulation and low coefficient of friction.

Vespel®CR Series

Although your design has to face the harsh chemical environment, vespel®CR can provide you with an easy solution, at the same time, vespel CR's ultra-high cleanliness characteristics, but also to meet the requirements of the semiconductor industry, high creep resistance to ensure the reliability of sealing parts, and easy machinability to ensure that the dimensions of the parts of the precision tolerances.

Vespel®TP Series

This innovative thermoplastic material enjoys an unrivaled performance in terms of improved functionality. In fact, the TP series and the vespel®S series share the same high abrasion, chemical and temperature resistance, even replacing metallic and ceramic parts.

Vespel®CP Series

The success of a design is not limited to its ability to operate, but rather its ability to remain in operation for extended periods of time in harsh environments where abrasion and impact resistance are key. vespel®CP is able to replace cast aluminum and titanium for use in sliding blocks and self-lubricating wear belts, and has a fiber-reinforced composite composition that is suited to a wide range of unique design needs.

Vespel®ASB Series

The Vespel®ASB series enriches the entire vespel product range, specifying solutions to meet customers' needs for product performance and efficiency. It also enhances design flexibility.

Vespel® products are made from many types of materials (polyimides, thermoplastics, composites and chemically resistant polymers). These products offer a unique combination of physical properties and design flexibility.
