If the two materials are rubbed against each other, of course, brass is more wear-resistant than POM. The hardness and melting point of POM are much lower than that of brass. POM is also unstable at high temperatures. The heat generated by friction will increase the temperature of the contact surface between the two. These conditions are naturally unfavorable for POM. Combining these few points, it can be seen that POM cannot grind brass. This problem should also consider other factors in the application, such as the size of the applied pressure, the environment, etc., because POM and brass have good self-lubricating properties, surface friction occurs under slight pressure, which affects the surface within a limited time.
