Anti-static PEI sheet material introduction
 
Anti-static PEI sheet, Chinese name polyetherimide, amber-colored transparent solid. It has inherent flame retardant and low smoke, does not contain any additives. Its oxygen index is 47%, combustion rating is UL94-V-0, density is 1.28~1.42g/cm3. It has excellent mechanical properties, electrical insulation, radiation resistance, high and low temperature resistance. The heat distortion temperature reaches 220℃, and it can be used for a long time under the working temperature of -160-180℃. It belongs to import and export restricted materials and is very expensive.

Anti-static PEI sheet is a specialized PEI sheet, which can change its conductive properties by adding conductive carbon powder and other materials, able to electrostatic discharge, reduce the electrostatic force between materials, improve the stability of the manufacturing process and product quality. The conductive powder of this material can be evenly distributed throughout the PEI sheet, so that the PEI sheet to obtain excellent anti-static properties, but also has the other advantages of PEI sheet, such as high temperature stability, flame retardant, chemically stable and so on. Anti-static PEI sheet has good mechanical strength, wear resistance and durability and other advantages, is widely used in fixtures, PCB production equipment and other occasions, is a performance of a wide range of high-performance engineering plastics materials used.

Due to its strong comprehensive performance, anti-static PEI board is widely used in the food and beverage industry, medical equipment, aerospace, automotive industry, automotive lighting, communications and other areas
 
The application of automotive lights mainly focuses on these properties.
 
Anti-static PEI sheet is a thermoplastic material with minimal loss of properties during production and processing and can be recycled.
 
The glass transition temperature is very high, exceeding 200 degrees Celsius;
 
Aluminizing without the need for a primer, resulting in high surface quality and adhesion of the aluminum layer;
 
Relatively low density, excellent dimensional stability, and its own low smoke characteristics.
 
The products mainly include front fog lamp reflector, combination headlamp lens set decorative ring and so on.
 
Previously, we used 55W halogen bulbs, the working temperature can reach a terrible temperature of about 500 degrees Celsius. If it is in a narrow lamp space (such as front fog lamp) or in close contact with the lens assembly, if you use ordinary high-temperature PC or PBT material, there will be a lot of limitations due to thermal deformation, and PEI provides designers with more choices.
