HONY plastic Provide Ketron® PEEK Series


Ketron® 1000 PEEK
Ketron 1000 PEEK is a pure material-grade Polyetheretherketone plastic profile. In the Ketron PEEK series, Ketron 1000 PEEK has high toughness and impact strength. Ketron 1000 PEEK (natural and black) can be sterilized by conventional sterilization methods (steam, dry heat, ethylene oxide, gamma radiation). The composition of Ketron 1000 PEEK complies with the applicable European Union regulations (Directive 2002/72/EC, as amended), the United States of America (FDA) regulations on plastic materials coming into contact with food.

Ketron 1000 PEEK natural and black (rod, sheet, pipe) are Quadrant's "food grade" advanced engineering plastic products.

Application

Structural components

Ketron PEEK vacuum wand handles are used in semiconductor manufacturing processes where exposure to high temperatures and commonly used process chemicals is common. (Alternatives: Nylon, Acetal)

Bushings, bearings, seals, backup rings

These parts are used in aircraft, oil field drilling and other equipment, and are machined from Ketron PEEK, which improves performance and reliability in use. (Alternatives: Reinforced PTFE, PPS, Bronze)

Ketron® GF30 PEEK (30% glass fiber reinforced)
Compared with Ketron 1000 PEEK, Ketron GF30 PEEK (brown gray) is reinforced by 30% glass fiber, has higher stiffness and creep resistance, and has good dimensional stability. The plastic is ideally suited for use as structural parts and for long periods of time at high temperatures and high static loads. It is worth noting that if Ketron GF30 PEEK is used for sliding parts, the addition of glass fiber may cause wear on the mating surface, which needs to be carefully evaluated.

Ketron® CA30 PEEK (30% carbon fiber reinforced)
Ketron CA30 PEEK (black) is reinforced by 30% carbon fiber, has higher stiffness, mechanical strength and creep resistance than Ketron GF30 PEEK, and has good wear resistance. Compared with unreinforced PEEK, Ketron CA30 PEEK has small thermal expansion, 3.5 times higher thermal conductivity, and faster heat dissipation on the bearing surface, thereby improving bearing life and the ability to withstand pressure speed.

Ketron® LSG CA30 PEEK
Ketron LSG CA30 PEEK (black) is reinforced by 30% carbon fiber, has higher stiffness, mechanical strength and creep resistance than Ketron LSG GF30 PEEK Blue, and has good wear resistance. Ketron LSG CA30 PEEK profiles have passed successful type tests, proving that they meet the requirements of the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) and ISO 10993-1 guidelines on material biocompatibility testing, and Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials provides full production tracking from resin to profiles. In addition, Ketron LSG CA30 PEEK profiles perform well in sterilization environments such as steam, dry heat, plasma, ethylene oxide, gamma rays, etc., so they are very suitable for applications such as medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology.

Ketron® LSG PEEK (Life Science Grade)
Ketron LSG PEEK profiles (natural color, black) are made of PEEK polyetheretherketone resin and produced in specific batches. Ketron LSG PEEK has unique mechanical, high temperature and chemical resistance properties. The composition of Ketron LSG PEEK complies with the applicable regulations of the European Union (Directive 2002/72/EC, as amended), the United States of America (FDA) regulations on plastic materials coming into contact with food. Ketron LSG PEEK profiles have passed successful type tests, proving compliance with the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) and ISO 10993-1 guidelines for material biocompatibility testing, and Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials provides full production tracking from resin to profiles. In addition, Ketron LSG PEEK profiles perform well in sterilization environments such as steam, dry heat, plasma, ethylene oxide, gamma rays, etc., so they are very suitable for applications such as medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology.

Ketron® HPV PEEK (Bearing Grade)
Ketron® HPV PEEK (black) is a "bearing grade" Ketron PEEK advanced engineering plastic material based on pure PEEK and modified with carbon fiber, PTFE and graphite. Ketron® HPV PEEK has a low coefficient of friction, good wear resistance, and high pressure-velocity capability, making it ideal for wear-prone applications, prolonging component life and improving performance.

Ketron® TX PEEK
In the Ketron PEEK series, Ketron® TX PEEK is a high-grade engineering plastic material specially designed for the food industry, with self-lubricating properties. In addition to being the same as Ketron 1000 PEEK, the ingredients can be in contact with food, Ketron® TX PEEK also has good wear resistance and friction properties, especially suitable for processing into various bearings and wear parts, and used in an environment of 100--200 °C .

Ketron® CLASSIX™ LSG PEEK
Ketron CLASSIX™ LSG PEEK profiles are advanced engineering plastics produced from Invibio® PEEK-CLASSIX white resin. Ketron CLASSIX™ LSG PEEK has high mechanical, high temperature and chemical resistance properties. Invibio PEEK-CLASSIX white resin complies with applicable European Union regulations (Directive 2002/72/EC, as amended), United States of America (FDA) regulations for plastic materials coming into contact with food. Ketron CLASSIX™ LSG PEEK profiles have passed successful type tests, proving that they meet the requirements of the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) and ISO 10993-1 guidelines on material biocompatibility testing, and Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials provides full production tracking from resin to profiles. In addition, Ketron CLASSIX™ LSG PEEK profiles perform extremely well in sterilization environments such as steam, dry heat, plasma, ethylene oxide, gamma rays, etc., making them ideal for applications such as medical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology.

Ketron® MD PEEK
Ketron® MD PEEK is a metal detectable engineering plastic, which is very suitable for high speed and high wear resistance, or applications where the working temperature is higher than 130°C. Other key features:
