Ertalon® and Nylatron® High-Performance Nylon Family

Abstracts : Ertalon® and Nylatron® are a range of high-performance nylon materials with high toughness, a low coefficient of friction, and excellent wear resistance. These properties make them the industry standard for use in bearing and wear applications, and ideal replacements for materials ranging from bronze to rubber. Our comprehensive range of semi-crystaline polyamide materials includes special formulations for demanding applications requiring extremely low wear rates, near zero stick-slip, internal lubrication, long-term thermal stability, and high pressure velocity.

MC nylon: English name Monomer casting nylon, Chinese name monomer casting nylon; plastic instead of steel, good performance;, extremely wide range of uses. It has a light weight, high strength, self-lubricating, anti-wear, anti-corrosion, insulation and other properties. It is a widely used engineering plastics, almost all over the industrial field.

MC nylon (ivory): unmodified cast nylon 6 characteristics and Pa66 is extremely close to its comprehensive performance, strength, stiffness and hardness, creep resistance, wear resistance, heat aging, good machinability.

MC901 (blue): This modified nylon 6 has a striking blue color, higher toughness than ordinary cast nylon, good flexibility, fatigue resistance, proved to be the ideal material for gears, racks and transmission gears.

PA66 Oil (green): This cast nylon 66 is a true self-lubricating nylon, developed specifically for the manufacture of parts that cannot be lubricated, have high loads, and run at low speeds, broadening the range of nylon applications with a lower coefficient of friction (up to 50 percent lower) and improved resistance to abrasion (up to 10 times higher) than ordinary nylons.

PA66 molybdenum (gray-black): contains molybdenum powder, can not affect the impact and fatigue resistance of the unmodified cast nylon at the same time, improve its load-bearing capacity and resistance to abrasion, it is very widely used in the manufacture of gears, bearings, star wheels and sets.

PA66 Solid Lubricant (Gray): Adopting the formula of patented cast nylon 66 with solid lubricant inside, this material has self-lubrication, excellent abrasion resistance, outstanding wear resistance and pressure speed capability (5 times higher than ordinary cast nylon). Particularly suitable for high-speed operation, can not be lubricated moving parts, is a good complement to oil-containing nylon.

Pa6 (white): This material has a good combination of properties, including mechanical strength, stiffness, toughness, mechanical damping and abrasion resistance. These properties, combined with good electrical insulation and chemical resistance, make PA6 a general-purpose grade material used in the manufacture of structural mechanical parts and serviceable parts.

PA66 (cream color): compared with PA6, its mechanical strength, stiffness, heat and wear resistance, creep resistance is good, but the impact strength and mechanical vibration damping performance decline, very suitable for automatic lathe machining.

PA4.6 (reddish brown): Compared with ordinary nylon, PA4.6 is characterized by strong rigidity preservation force, good creep resistance, in a wider range of temperatures, more resistant to heat aging, therefore, PA4.6 is used for PA6, PA66, POM and PET in terms of stiffness, creep resistance, heat aging, fatigue strength and anti-wear properties can not reach the requirements of the; higher temperature field ” ( 80 -150 ℃)

PA66 GF30 (black): Compared with pure PA66, this nylon filled with 30% glass fiber reinforced, its heat resistance, strength, stiffness. Creep resistance and dimensional stability, resistance to abrasion and other properties are improved, it is allowed to use a higher temperature.

Main characteristics: mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness, toughness and other characteristics. Good aging resistance, good mechanical damping ability, good sliding, excellent wear resistance, good machinability, high chemical stability, resistance to organic solvents and fuels, environmentally friendly and harmless. As well as high heat resistance and non-deformability (applicable temperature range -40 degrees - 120 degrees). Nylon is one of the five engineering plastics widely used varieties.
