MC nylon, also known as cast nylon, is made from molten caprolactam monomer C6H11NO under atmospheric pressure with alkaline substances as catalysts, together with activators and other additives to be polymerized monomer, which is directly injected into the mold preheated to a certain temperature, so that the material is quickly polymerized in the mold and condensed into a tough solid embryo, and then processed through the relevant technology to obtain the intended products. As one of the engineering plastics, MC nylon is "plastic instead of steel, excellent performance" and has a wide range of applications. It has a variety of unique properties such as light weight, high strength, self-lubrication, wear resistance, anti-corrosion, and insulation.
