Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) products use and its classification introduction

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) products have a wide range of uses and are categorized as follows:

1. General materials

Various rods, tubes, plates film, tape, rope, packing, gaskets, and graphite, molybdenum disulfide, aluminum oxide, glass fiber, carbon fiber as filler to improve the mechanical properties of pure polytetrafluoroethylene.

2. Anti-corrosion

Polytetrafluoroethylene film after longitudinal and transverse bi-directional stretching within a large number of pores, is a new material, it will be compounded with other fabrics, can be made of soot solid-phase anticorrosive filtration bag or good waterproof and breathable, windproof and warm rain gear sportswear, cold weather clothing, special protective clothing and lightweight tents, compressed air for pharmaceuticals, various solvents, sterile filtration and filtration of high-purity gases in the electronics industry.

(1) Pipes and fittings: pure PTFE pipes; PTFE lined pipes; outer wrapped glass steel pipes; steel composite flanges;

(2) Chemical vessel lining: PTFE lined kettle; PTFE lined tank; PTFE lined tower;

(3) Heat exchangers;

(4) Corrugated expansion pipe;

(5) Main parts of valves and pumps;

(6) Steel wire reinforced full-pressure hoses;

(7) Filtering materials.

3. Sealing category

(1) Static seal: laminated gasket; sitting material belt; elastic sealing tape;

(2) Dynamic seals (preparation of packing, ring seals): V-shaped sealing body - for shafts, piston rods, valves; turbine pump internal seals; PTFE and rubber composite sealing ring; with bellows retractable mechanical seal.

4. Load bearing type

(1) Filled PTFE bearings for food chemical paper making and textile machinery;

(2) Porous copper impregnated fluoroplastic metal bearings, which can be used normally under high temperature and high pressure dry friction and vacuum conditions;

(3) PTFE fiber bearings of PTFE fibers and glass fiber or other fibers blended with composite fabrics made of bearing liners for low-speed high load;

(4) Filled PTFE piston rings, guide rings, machine tool guides and bridge sliders.

5. Insulation class

(1) Class C insulation for wire and cable;

(2) Sheathing for stator and rotor pilot tubes and thermocouples of double-water internally cooled turbine generators;

(3) Microwave insulating materials for high-frequency and ultra-high-frequency communication equipment and radar;

(4) Printed circuit substrates and motors, transformers (including gas transformers) insulating materials;

(5) Insulating materials for air conditioners, electronic furnaces, various heaters and sulfur hexafluoride circuit breakers.

6. Anti-Stick Category

(1) PTFE glass cloth covering on the hot roll of the sizing machine - can be exempted from the formation of chemical slurry sticky roll phenomenon, greatly improving the production rate and billet.

(2) Microwave drying conveyor belt for food industry - compared with other materials conveyor belt does not absorb microwave energy, non-sticky material due to which there are power saving, cleaning advantages.

(3) Polyethylene bagging sealing of the anti-sticking material of the thermal laminating set;

(4) anti-stick coating - for kitchen pots and pans, baking molds for bread baking, frozen food storage trays, iron bottoms, photocopier pinch rollers.

7. Temperature-resistant class

(1) Microwave oven drive transmission device, such as microwave oven coupler, roller;

(2) Various kinds of refrigeration, air conditioning, oxygen generator, compressor temperature-resistant parts;

(3) Applied to silicon raw materials cleaning and drying oven tray, with the material padding in the tray surface can avoid silicon raw materials and metal contact, but also play a high temperature, acid and alkali effect.

8. Other categories

(1) Human body substitute arterial and venous blood vessels, heart membrane;

(2) Endoscopes, clamp catheters, trachea;

(3) Other tubes, bottles, filter cloths and other medical equipment.
