PAI（Polyamideimide）material, is a new type of engineering plastics containing amide groups. Because Polyimide molecule has a very stable aromatic heterocyclic structure, so that it shows other polymer materials can not match the heat and low temperature resistance. It is a thermoplastic engineering plastic profile with high temperature resistance and high dimensional stability, the specific gravity of 1.45-1.61g/cm3, this material can maintain its strength and rigidity under the temperature conditions of up to 275°C, from low temperature to 275°C high temperature conditions show excellent toughness, excellent wear resistance. In high temperature applications, the profile has both excellent mechanical properties and good dimensional stability, with a continuous temperature of 250 ° C under high load/pressure conditions Compared with other thermoplastic engineering plastics, the parts processed by PAI have higher compressive strength and impact strength and creep resistance, excellent wear resistance, outstanding UV resistance, superior resistance to high-energy radiation (gamma rays and Χ rays), and natural flame retardancy. Chemical resistance (including strong acids and most organics) is outstanding, suitable for precision parts processing and applications with high wear requirements.

Torlon PAI 4203 (tan) : Universal, unfilled, the PAI has the best toughness and impact strength. Because of its inherent high temperature resistance, good dimensional stability and good machining performance. Torlon PAI 4203 sheet is often used for precision parts production of high-tech equipment. Moreover, because of its good electrical insulation, it has been widely used in the field of electrical components.

 

Torlon PAI 4301 (black) : Filled with PTFE and graphite, good wear resistance and low friction coefficient compared to unfilled. The PAI 4301 also exhibits excellent dimensional stability over a wide temperature range. This class of material is used in applications with high wear requirements, such as non-lubricated bearings, seals, bearing isolation rings and reciprocating compressor parts.

 

Torlon PAI 5530 (dark green) : universal, wear-resistant, filled with 30% glass fiber reinforcement, showing good rigidity, strength and creep resistance compared to Torlon PAI 4203 . It is suitable for the manufacture of structural parts to support fixed load work at high temperatures for a long time. And because PAI 5530 shows excellent dimensional stability at 250°C, it is widely used in the production of precision parts such as electronics and semiconductor industries.
