Ketron®High Performance PEEK TX

Ketron®TX is an internal lubrication grade PEEK compliant with EU 10/2011 and FDA. This premium grade has better wear and friction properties than virgin PEEK. Ketron® TX PEEK components have a lower CoF than standard PEEK, allowing for increased wear and part life, and are typically used in food and beverage processing and pharmaceutical applications that require extremely high performance temperatures, tight tolerances, or frictional heating.

Ketron®TX PEEK was developed for the food industry and other applications that require an FDA compliant and European Union compliance material.  Ketron® TX is an internally lubricated PEEK that offers improved wear and frictional performance over virgin PEEK.  Ketron® TX is ideal for food, pharmaceutical, and beverage processing applications where the application requires extreme performance via either temperature, critical tolerance, or even frictional heat; all while improving wear performance and part life by lowering the coefficient of friction over standard PEEK.

Polyetheretherketone Limitations

• Poor Chemical Resistance to Halogens and Their Acids Including Bromine, Chlorine, Fluorine, HBr and HF
