Polyphenylene ether-PPO

 

Polyphenylene ether PPO is a high-strength engineering plastic, non-toxic, transparent, low relative density, with excellent mechanical strength, stress relaxation resistance, creep resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, water vapor resistance, dimensional stability. The most important feature is that it has excellent dimensional stability and outstanding electrical insulation under long-term load, and a wide range of use temperature, which can be used for a long period of time in the range of -127～121℃. Has excellent water resistance, steam resistance, products with high tensile strength and impact strength, creep resistance is also good. In addition, it has good abrasion resistance and electrical properties.

 

Product characteristics:

 

1. good comprehensive performance, good electric insulation, small water absorption, but there is a tendency to stress cracking.

 

2. excellent electrical insulation and water resistance, good abrasion resistance and electrical properties, good dimensional stability.

 

3. high heat resistance, the higher the content of PPO, the better the heat resistance, heat distortion temperature up to 190 degrees.

 

4. good flame retardant, self-extinguishing.

 

 

Scope of application:

 

1. Electrical and electronic: coil cores, microwave insulation, pressure electronic components, TV sets, computers, fax machines, photocopiers shell, etc.

2. Automotive industry: instrument panel parts, window frames, shock absorbers, pump filters, etc.

3. Machinery industry: gears, bearings, pump impellers, blower impeller blades, etc.

4. Chemical industry: pipes, valves, filters and submersible pumps and other corrosion-resistant parts.
