Bearing Grade PEEK contains carbon fiber reinforced with graphite and PTFE lubricants, offering the lowest coefficient of friction and the best machinability for all PEEK grades.Bearing grade PEEK has an excellent combination of low friction, low wear, high limiting PV, low mating part wear, and easy machining. Bearing grade PEEK is black or dark grey in color.PEEK can be used continuously to 480°F (250°C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. For hostile environments, PEEK is a high strength alternative to fluoropolymers. PEEK carries a V-0 flammability rating and exhibits very low smoke and toxic gas emission when exposed to flame
Key Properties

What is a PEEK bearing?
PEEK® Ball Bearings Manufacturer - High Temperature Radial ...
PEEK Plastic Radial Ball Bearings
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone), is a high temperature, high-performance engineering polymer for use when the Standard Celcon® Acetal Polymer does not meet the performance requirements of the application. These standard bearings are fitted with either SS316 or glass balls.
Is PEEK good for bearings?
PEEK Bearings - Waukesha Bearings
PEEK bearings can provide exceptional performance in high ambient temperatures and with low-viscosity lubricants such as water. It is also an electrical insulator and resistant to chemical attack.
What is the difference between PTFE and PEEK bearing cage?
Compared to PTFE, PEEK exhibits higher strength, stiffness, dimensional stability with temperature and resistance to creep. The implication therefore is that PEEK with its superior material properties must yield superior performance.
What is the difference between tecapeek and PEEK?
PEEK bearing grade - TECAPEEK PVX black| Ensinger
It combines the properties of a high-grade matrix material with special, wear-improving additives. Compared to all PEEK modifications, TECAPEEK PVX black has the lowest coefficient of friction, and shows higher wear resistance
What is PEEK bushing?
A PEEK bushing, also known as a Polyetheretherketone bushing, is a crucial component used in various industries for its exceptional performance characteristics and versatility. PEEK is a high-performance thermoplastic material known for its excellent mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties.
