PA 6 GF30 is a 30 % glass fibre reinforced polyamide that we manufacture under the trade name TECAMID 6 GF30 black. It offers higher strength, rigidity, creep strength and dimensional stability than unreinforced polyamide 6. These PA6 GF30 properties make this material suitable for use in parts which are exposed to high static loads over long periods in high temperature conditions. As glass fibres tend in some cases to have a marked abrasive effect on mating surfaces, glass filled nylon 6 is less suitable for sliding applications.
